Although by this time in my career, I pretty much know exactly what colour a given underglaze will yield, and I freely mix colours, it is helpful from time to time to remind myself of some of the nuances in some of the shades I use less frequently, or to remind me which colours are almost the same. For that purpose I have a few colour swatch tiles.
